Bildad tried to replies to Job's sorrowful pleas and asks him how much longer will he carry on like this. He wants him to know that if Job is so against the idea that he himself is guilty, then he is therefore suffering as a result of what his children has done. God is a just God and if Job just prays to him and seek favor, He will provide for him. Job replies to that comment saying that he knows what his friend is saying is true but who is he to try and reason with God. Job is but a mere mortal and can not understand at all why God does the things that he does. He just wants to complain freely about not knowing what he has done and why was he born if to just suffer in such a way. Job's other friend Zophar replies to him and says something profound , " Verse 2 Is a person found innocent just by talking a lot? That is all Job has been doing and his friends are convinced that there was something that occurred in Job's life that warranted his punishment. This friend also want him to just get rid of his sins and leave all iniquity behind you (Job11:14). Once he does that all should be clear in the eyes of the Lord.
